Lawrence LevyLawrence Levy has over forty-five years of experience in senior management and technical positions both in industry and the United States government in the biotechnology, defense, aerospace, computer, energy, and environmental fields. Over his career, he has specialized in forming and growing innovative companies, and in bringing new technologies to the marketplace. Mr. Levy has served as Vice President Corporate Development and Vice President International of the Raytheon Company, a Presidential appointment as Minister for Defense Affairs in the US Delegation to NATO in Paris, and as founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Allied Research Associates, Inc. (now Allied Defense Group). Mr. Levy has served as the President and a member of the Board of Directors of RIGHT since its founding in 1994.
Franco LoriWith 20 years of extensive experience in Biotech management, Franco Lori has successfully overseen the start-up of three biotechnology companies. He also has experience in investigative pre-clinical and clinical research interacting with a network of clinical, pharmaceutical, government, and basic researchers in the US and Europe. Dr. Lori received his MD from the University of Parma and earned his PhD from the University of Pavia, Italy. He was a Senior Investigator in the Laboratory of Tumor Cell Biology at the National Cancer Institute before co-founding RIGHT in 1994, where he served as co-director. Dr. Lori, recognized in 2000 as a "Hero in Medicine" for his achievements in HIV therapy, has co-authored over 100 international peer-reviewed publications.
Sjlva PetrocchiSjlva Petrocchi began her career in 1993 with Snamprogetti (ENI group), as Executive Secretary for the Algerian and French engineering delegation. In 1995, she was given responsibility for all Chinese delegations as well as becoming Assistant Manager of Customer Service. Ms. Petrocchi joined RIGHT in August of 1997, serving as Chief Administrative Officer in Italy with responsibility for managing all organizational and Public Relation initiatives.
Luca MercaldoAlmost 20 years of professional activity as advisor in the tax and corporate fields, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring. He has substantial expertise in structuring financial transactions and he advises several multinational groups. With strong relationships with major companies, he is Chairman of statutory auditors or director of sizeable Italian companies. He has also been appointed liquidator by the Court of Milan.
