John Kenneth
President
As a business lawyer and strategic adviser, with over 40 years of experience, John Kenneth Hautman has guided companies in intellectual property, technology commercialization, and business strategy. A former senior partner at Hogan & Hartson, he co-founded multiple technology and biotech firms.
He has held leadership roles in venture capital and pharmaceutical companies, supporting innovation in cancer and viral disease treatments.
Franco Lori
Vice-President and Chief Scientific Officer
With 30 years of experience in the Biotech sector, Franco Lori founded and led three biotechnology companies. An MD and PhD, he worked at the National Cancer Institute before co-founding RIGHT in 1994, where he served as co-director. An expert in pre-clinical and clinical research, he has collaborated with institutions in the US and Europe. Recognized in 2000 as a "Hero in Medicine" for his contributions to HIV therapy, he published over 100 scientific articles.
Sjlva Petrocchi
Secretary and Treasurer
Sjlva Petrocchi began her career in 1993 with Snamprogetti (ENI group), as Executive Secretary for the Algerian and French engineering delegation. In 1995, she was given responsibility for all Chinese delegations as well as becoming Assistant Manager of Customer Service. Ms. Petrocchi joined RIGHT in August of 1997, serving as Chief Administrative Officer in Italy with responsibility for managing all organizational and Public Relation initiatives.
Luca Mercaldo

Luca Mercaldo has over 20 years of professional experience as an advisor in tax, corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and company restructuring. He possesses substantial expertise in structuring corporate and financial transactions and has provided advice to several multinational groups.
With strong relationships with major companies, he serves as Chairman of statutory auditors and a director for significant Italian companies.
